2011Their granddad, a golfing mate, gave me the commission. I spent an afternoon with the youngsters to get to konow them. They posed nicely and interestedly to have me sketch them. Next photos and then into the studio! The youngest, Lars, will be his granddad's spitting image!

2011My youngest uncle Jef died just over two month after the death of his sister Mieke (see my painting Maria Beata) at whose funeral he still attended. In the previous summer he had been at our place for a family reunion. Thus I had photographs I could use as imagery for a portrait. I had to make it.
